All servant volunteers should report to the VIC as planned Friday night for set-up. On Sunday, servant volunteers should report at 1 p.m. to the VIC to begin food preparation and setup.

There will be food and refreshments along with games and activities for all ages. Activities include hay rides, games, treat bags for children (while supplies last), face painting, pumpkin carving context, and a Harvest/Biblical costume parade.

We are looking for donations of candy and treats to fill the bags. There will be a box in the foyer throughout the month of October.

Activity Managers (10-12)
Cook-Off Judges (6)

This Christmas, in addition to our children, we have extended our outreach to include the children at New Hope Children Center, an orphanage in Uplands near Nairobi in Kenya. Because of the great need, this Center has expanded its services to families in surrounding communities, caring for the elderly and children.

Family Submission Form Submission date: December 2, 2009. Forms should be submitted to Minister Don Mix, Chris Mix, Renea Carter or Jackie Jegels. Forms are available in the church foyer. For additional information, please contact church office, 301-283-0900.

Gift Submission Date : December 18, 2009. New Hope Children’s gifts should be unwrapped. All other gifts should be wrapped with the Angel Tree tag attached.

Gift Distribution Date: December 20, 2009. All gifts should be placed in the boxes in the church foyer.
